What we do with the Samaritan Day Top Village is that is an organization that helps with drug rehab. It helps help the youth and adults get rehab for their drug and alcohol addiction. The Samaritan Day Top Village has been successful with getting people out of their addictions quickly.
What we do with Fordham University is that we offer internships for graduate students working on their further degrees. Some examples of what interns work on are: social work, special need tenants, administrative work, and after school programs.
What we do with the Fresh Air Fund is that a free summer camp is provided for children and families. This is for approximately 2 weeks where children get to have an amazing time. Also, children get the opportunity to go out to the mid-west or Canada and spend some time with a family.
What we do with the Metro World Child organization is that it is a Christ-centered organization so we take it as an opportunity to help underprivileged children while also teaching them the Christian way. This program serves children through weekly Sunday schools, child sponsorship programs, special visits to meet physical, spiritual, and education needs, and weekly home visits.
The Kibera Social Arts Group helps children born in the slums of Kenya. It provides different programs to help raise the youth. Some programs include community sanitation, therapeutic arts, and girl empowerment programs. How we help is that we hold fund raisers to help this program run. We also bring people from Kenya over here to New York and help with their wellness.
What we do with the Life Foundation School is that a completely free learning environment is offered for underprivileged children in West Africa. The tuition is completely free and free food is also provided
What we do with St. John's University is that we provide opportunities for Academic Service Learning. Academic Service Learning is an opportunity for students to learn while doing hands on activities. Some examples of Academic Service Learning on site include: social work, special need tenants, administrative work, and after school programs.
What we do with the College of Staten Island is that we offer internships for undergraduate students. Some examples of what interns work on include: social work, special need tenants, administrative work, and after school programs.
We work with the Stapleton UAME church in providing a food pantry and giving food to the less fortunate. One successful program is the senior feeding program where food is given to the elderly.
